Our venue is 21 & Up only.  

Exceptions are rare and will be notated on the event, i.e. an event hosted by a music school normally allows all ages to attend.  If an age limit is not listed, you should assume only people over 21 will be let in.

Please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets as most tickets are non-refundable.

Absolutely no outside beverages are allowed in the venue. Tumblers, paper cups, and other outside containers are also not allowed. This is regardless of whether there is alcohol in a beverage or not, and  regardless of whether the drinking container is empty or full. 

Oversized purses and backpacks are not allowed in the venue.  If you take Uber/ Lyft or other mode of transportation instead of driving yourself,  plan to leave these items behind.

There are no in & outs allowed. Once you've been checked in for a show, we do not allow you to go back out. Be sure you have your keys, cigarettes, jackets, etc. before checking in at the door for an event. 

The city of San Antonio prohibits both smoking and vaping inside establishments, and as such, neither of these are allowed anywhere inside the venue. We have an enclosed area out back where you can smoke your cigarettes  and vape.

You must have a valid government issued photo ID to attend events and to hang out at Fitzgerald's.  Photos of your ID on your phone will not be accepted.

We do realize that DPS is backlogged, and it may take a few months to get an appointment to renew your ID. Recently expired IDs , within the last three months, may be accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone without a valid government issued Texas ID or if the validity of an ID is questionable.

 We prefer you wear clothes - No shirt, no shoes, no service type of thing. All kidding aside, our dress code is casual. But we won't turn you away for wearing a suit a tie, either. 

Cover charge is show specific; there is no cover on non-show nights. There is also no cover during business hours before doors have opened for an event. You may be asked to pay the cover if you are still inside the bar when doors open for a show.

Please check events and flyers for specific information on fees to attend/ ticketing for shows.

If you would like to open a tab, we require a credit card and the first round will automatically be preauthorized.

Depending on your card issuer, the preauth will be used towards your final bill when your tab is closed. However, not all banks work the same way.

Most debit card transactions have a hold of one to eight business days; for credit card transactions, the hold might last as long as a month. We are not responsible for when your bank and/or credit card company releases the funds. We do not see any of the held money - it is actually still in the cardholder's bank.

No, we do not. If you want to pay with cash, we suggest that you pay for each transaction as you go.

No, we do not. We preauthorize your first round and hand the card back to you.  For larger tabs, we may ask you for your card again so that we can preauth the new total. 

There's no reason to stress.  In the event that you forget to close your tab before you leave, at the end of the night our bar staff will close the tab on your behalf as a "walked tab" and charge 20% gratuity. 

We host a variety of genres including rock, blues, pop, and country music.

We have plenty of free parking in the business center where we are  located.
